This module offers key techniques for communicating architectural design effectively. It uses architectural drawings to engage students in diverse ways of visualising and expressing space and spatial ideas in order to prepare them for design tasks. These abilities are taught through a series of freehand and structured drawing exercises that take place both outside and in the studio. The module will be taught using a lecture and tutorial format, with students participating in a blended learning experience during the lecture and tutorial sessions.
