PROJECT 2
To introduce anthropometry and ergonomics, as well as their relationship to form and space, and to raise awareness of them, grasp of structure in general, design concepts, and architectural terminologies as they apply to spatial and form arrangement.
It is required to make a 1:1 scale model for this assignment. We are to choose a banal action and that banal action should be able to fit in our model.
Design Intention:
To design a lounging structure that shows a seamless change in line and space, leading the user from intimidated to acceptance, in a dynamic and energetic manner.

MOCK UP MODEL
At times we feel like we are out of breath especially when the pandemic has been going on for a long period of time. We are constantly protecting ourselves from the virus from attacking our lungs, just as our rib cages have been doing, protecting them from external harm. Therefore this structure is a representation of our rib cage, it curves inwards while our fearful selves hide like a curveball, being protected inside this skeletal design. After every difficulty we face, a layer is built upon another, which applies to my design principle of hierarchy

REFLECTION
Through this project, not only was I able to apply what I learned from project 1 into my project 2, but I was also able to consider multiple additional sections. Although this was my first time expressing my emotions through architecture, I managed to tell my side of the story titled "Self-Isolation". The banal action I had chosen had indeed assisted me in conveying my feelings. Although there are still improvements to be made, I am satisfied with what I have managed to come up with.
1. DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
I learned about tectonics, ergonomics and anthropometry.
2. LIFELONG LEARNING
I see myself slowly improving in sketching and drawing orthographic drawings.
3. INTRAPERSONAL SKILLS
I was able to manage my time wisely in completing the project.
